Snow Day Survival: Baileys Hot Chocolate
Because if the world is frozen solid, your insides should be warm and slightly tipsy.
Ingredients
1 mug (the biggest one you own; snow days have no rules)
Hot chocolate (packet, homemade, or whatever you found in the back of the cupboard)
A generous splash of Baileys (measure with your heart, not a spoon)
Whipped cream (optional but highly encouraged)
Chocolate shavings, cocoa powder, or crushed candy canes (for
Marshmallows (the emotional support kind)
Instructions
Make hot chocolate according to instructions, vibes, or pure muscle memory.
Add Baileys. Start with a splash. Add another splash because it’s snowing and you deserve peace.
Stir gently while staring out the window like you’re in a cozy movie montage.
Top with whipped cream. This is not the time for minimalism.
Add marshmallows until you question your own judgment (that’s the sweet spot).
Sprinkle chocolate or cocoa on top to feel fancy, even though you’re in pajamas from 2017.
Serve
With fuzzy socks
Under a blanket
While aggressively refusing to check emails
Warning
May cause extreme coziness, sudden naps, and the belief that snow days should be a weekly occurrence.
