Seventeen Restaurants Earn Perfect Scores in Recent Health Inspections
COLLIER COUNTY β A recent round of state health inspections delivered standout results for a small group of local restaurants and food service operations. According to inspection records released in late January, 17 establishments passed their first inspection with zero violations, an achievement inspectors say is uncommon and reflects strong food safety practices.
A zero-violation inspection means inspectors found no issues related to food handling, cleanliness, temperature control, or sanitation. These inspections are typically unannounced and cover everything from employee hygiene to equipment maintenance.

What Diners Should Know
Health officials emphasize that inspection results are a snapshot in time. Restaurants that do not pass an initial inspection are typically required to correct violations and undergo follow-up visits to ensure compliance.
Inspection reports are publicly available through state health databases, allowing diners to make informed choices about where they eat.
Disclaimer: These records are sanitation and safety inspections conducted by the Division of Hotels and Restaurants on public food service establishments. Each inspection report is a “snapshot” of conditions present at the time of the inspection. On any given day, an establishment may have fewer or more violations than noted in their most recent inspection. An inspection conducted on any given day may not be representative of the overall, long-term conditions at the establishment. Information is updated weekly or you can search for the most recent records for a particular establishment using the DBPR Online Services.
