Collier Boulevard Park Boat Ramp Reopens with Significant Upgrades
Collier County’s popular Collier Boulevard Park Boat Ramp will officially reopen to the public on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, following a series of major improvements designed to enhance safety, functionality, and overall user experience.
The facility, located just north of the Marco Island bridge on the east side of Collier Boulevard, closed in mid-February for vital renovations. Since then, it has undergone a comprehensive transformation, including:
Complete replacement of seawall and boat ramp structures
Installation of new timber pilings
Construction of a brand-new floating boat dock
Freshly repaved parking lot for improved access and appearance
As part of the upgrades, the park has also implemented the T2 MobilePay system, replacing the previous parking master meter. This new, user-friendly option allows customers to conveniently pay for parking directly from their smartphones—without downloading an app. Visitors can simply scan a QR code or text a short code to access the secure online payment portal through any web browser.
The cost to launch a vessel is $10, and vehicle parking is $10 unless the driver holds a valid Collier County Resident Beach Parking Permit, which provides free parking.
“These improvements reflect Collier County’s ongoing commitment to providing exceptional recreational facilities that serve both residents and visitors,” said James Hanrahan, Parks & Recreation Division Director. “The Collier Boulevard Park Boat Ramp is now safer, more functional, and more convenient than ever before.”
Featuring dual launch lanes and ample parking for trailers and vehicles, the Collier Boulevard Park Boat Ramp remains one of the most convenient and popular water access points in the region.
