Motorcyclist Critically Injured After Crash on Collier Boulevard in Naples

A motorcyclist was critically injured following a crash on Collier Boulevard, about a half-mile north of the Jolley Bridge in Naples.
Emergency crews from Greater Naples Fire Rescue and Collier County EMS responded to the scene around 6:32 p.m., according to first responder communications.
Radio reports indicate that the rider — an approximately 59-year-old man — was declared a “Trauma Alert” at the scene and transported to NCH Baker Hospital with critical injuries.
One northbound lane of Collier Boulevard was temporarily closed while first responders worked to stabilize the victim and clear the crash debris. The lane has since reopened.
The Florida Highway Patrol is leading the investigation into the cause of the crash. No further details have been released regarding other vehicles or contributing factors.
