Third Disney World Death in 10 Days Casts Shadow Over Magic Kingdom
Orlando, FL — Walt Disney World is reeling after a third fatality in less than two weeks, casting an unsettling shadow over The Most Magical Place on Earth.
The latest death occurred at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, adjacent to Magic Kingdom Park, according to confirmation from the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office. Details about the cause and exact time of death have not been released.
Guests at the resort captured chilling footage on social media. A TikTok video shows police tape cordoning off areas in the hotel courtyard, with numerous officers and emergency personnel on the scene.
Some visitors reported being asked by Disney cast members not to look out of their balcony windows. According to Inside the Magic, employees were stationed at every window, apparently to shield guests from the scene.
One Facebook post by a guest described the scene: “Something happened in the back of the building with crime scene tape surrounding the water fountain. I don’t know if somebody jumped or accidentally fell to their death, but something happened. And they have an employee at every single window to shield you from looking out the back so you can’t view.”
This recent string of fatalities has prompted heightened concern among visitors and staff, raising questions about safety protocols at one of the world’s most iconic resorts. Disney officials have not yet released a public statement regarding the incident.
The park remains operational, but the recent events have undeniably cast a somber mood over the Magic Kingdom experience.
