Collier County Restaurant Inspections: 41 Restaurants Earn Perfect Scores, 35 Fall Short on First Check

Collier County’s Clean Plate Club: 41 Restaurants Earn Perfect Scores, While 35 Fall Short in Latest Inspections

Collier County, FL β€” In the world of restaurant inspections, perfection is rare β€” but this month, 41 Collier County establishments managed to pull off a flawless performance. The Florida Division of Hotels and Restaurants released its latest round of inspections for October 24 through November 21, 2025, and the results tell a story of both culinary pride and cautionary reminders.

The good news? Dozens of eateries, ranging from fast-food chains to upscale dining rooms, passed their initial inspections with zero violations, placing them among the county’s top performers for food safety and cleanliness. For others, the process wasn’t as smooth. Thirty-five restaurants received warnings, callback inspections, or administrative complaint recommendations after falling short of state standards.

A Strong Showing for Local Kitchens

Restaurants achieving a violation-free inspection include familiar names, neighborhood favorites, and high-volume chains β€” a mix that suggests food safety is being taken seriously across the county.

Fast-food staples like Wendy’s, Dairy Queen, Chick-fil-A, and Burger King made the list, as did beloved local spots such as Noodle Saigon, The Supper Club, and Fowl Mouth. Even major resort and country club kitchens β€” often complex operations β€” earned perfect marks, including The Players Club and Spa, Golf Lodge at the Quarry, and Bay Colony Beach Club Deck.

Food trucks, caterers, and concessions also appeared prominently, with Flora & Fauna, Bleu Provence Catering, and the Sun N Fun Concessions at North Collier Regional Park all clearing the inspection without a single misstep.

In total, 41 establishments aced their inspections on the first try β€” an achievement the state considers exceptional.

But Not All Kitchens Kept Pace

While many operators sailed through, others encountered setbacks ranging from minor oversights to issues serious enough to prompt administrative complaints.

Restaurants such as Backyard Chick’n and Ribs, Parmesan Pete’s, Royal Scoop, Kelly’s Roast Beef, Mr. Tequila, and Foxboro Sports Tavern received warnings requiring prompt correction. A few β€” including Nautical Bowl, Leoni’s Pizza, and Friendly & Amigo Restaurant β€” triggered administrative complaint recommendations, a sign the violations were either significant or repeat concerns.

Fast-casual chains weren’t immune either. A Subway location on Tamiami Trail North was cited for conditions severe enough to require a callback inspection with a possible administrative complaint.

Some country club and resort kitchens, typically top performers, also stumbled this round: TwinEagles Club, Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club, and Bay Colony Beach Club Main each failed their first inspection.

In total, 35 restaurants did not pass on the first attempt.

A Snapshot of Food Safety

The inspection reports offer a glimpse into the varied landscape of Collier County’s dining scene. While some restaurants uphold β€” and even exceed β€” industry standards, others are reminded of the high expectations placed on Florida’s food service operations.

For residents and visitors, the results are a helpful barometer of the county’s overall food safety climate: largely strong, but with room for improvement. In a region where hospitality is central to daily life and the local economy, maintaining clean, well-run kitchens is more than a regulatory requirement β€” it’s a community commitment.
