Collier Boulevard Park Boat Ramp Reopens with Significant Upgrades
COLLIER COUNTY, FL — The Collier Boulevard Park Boat Ramp is set to officially reopen to the public on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, following a major renovation project aimed at enhancing safety, accessibility, and overall user experience.
Located just north of the Marco Island bridge on the east side of Collier Boulevard, the popular facility has been closed since mid-February for critical upgrades. Now, after months of construction, boaters and outdoor enthusiasts can look forward to a significantly improved launch site.
Renovation highlights include:
Complete replacement of the seawall and boat ramp structures
Installation of new timber pilings
Construction of a brand-new floating dock
Freshly repaved parking lot for better access and aesthetics
As part of the modernization, the park has also introduced the T2 MobilePay system, replacing the outdated master meter. This streamlined, app-free payment method lets visitors pay for parking directly from their smartphones—simply by scanning a QR code or texting a short code to access a secure browser-based portal.
Fee structure:
Boat launch: $10
Vehicle parking: $10 (Free for those with a valid Collier County Resident Beach Parking Permit)
“These improvements reflect Collier County’s ongoing commitment to providing top-quality recreational amenities for both residents and visitors,” said James Hanrahan, Director of the Parks & Recreation Division. “The Collier Boulevard Park Boat Ramp is now safer, more functional, and more convenient than ever before.”
With dual launch lanes and ample trailer and vehicle parking, the Collier Boulevard Park Boat Ramp remains one of the region’s most accessible and well-used water access points.
