Man Dead After Shooting on Monroe Court in Immokalee
Collier County, FL — Nov. 1, 2025
A man is dead following a shooting Friday night at a residence on Monroe Court in Immokalee, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO).
Deputies were dispatched to 811 Monroe Court at around 9:05 p.m. after reports of gunfire during what investigators described as a house party that turned violent.
According to CCSO, the confrontation began as a disturbance among attendees before escalating. At least one person opened fire, striking a male victim in the chest with what officials believe to be a rifle round.
Fire and EMS radio traffic indicated the victim, believed to be approximately 35 years old, was found in traumatic cardiac arrest. He was rushed to NCH Northeast Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead despite resuscitation efforts.
Authorities have not released the victim’s name, pending notification of next of kin.
Detectives remained on scene late into the night collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses. No arrests have been announced at this time, and the investigation remains active.
