BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. — A semi-truck rollover caused significant traffic disruptions on Interstate 75 in Bonita Springs on Tuesday, blocking multiple southbound lanes near mile marker 117, just south of the Terry Street overpass.

According to authorities, the crash occurred in the southbound lanes of I-75. The driver was not injured, and no other injuries were reported.

The rollover resulted in a diesel fuel spill estimated at approximately 100 gallons. Bonita Springs Fire Department crews responded to the scene and worked to contain the leak. Due to the environmental impact, the Environmental Protection Agency was notified as a precaution.

As of the latest update, two southbound lanes of I-75 remain blocked while cleanup and investigation efforts continue. Motorists traveling through the area are advised to expect delays and seek alternate routes if possible.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
