Three Seriously Injured in Head-On Crash on Everglades Blvd in Golden Gate Estates

GOLDEN GATE ESTATES — Three people were seriously injured Monday evening after a violent head-on collision along Everglades Boulevard North, authorities said.

The crash occurred shortly after 6:21 p.m. in front of 4565 Everglades Blvd N, where two vehicles struck each other head-on along the two-lane stretch frequently traveled by residents heading through the eastern Estates.

North Collier Fire Rescue and Collier County EMS responded swiftly to the scene, where crews worked to stabilize the injured victims and extricate occupants from the damaged vehicles. All three individuals suffered serious injuries, officials confirmed.

Paramedics transported the victims to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. Their identities and current conditions have not yet been released.

The roadway was temporarily shut down as first responders cleared debris and investigators examined the scene to determine what led to the crash.
