Fee-Waived Cat Adoptions in Celebration of National Kitten Day
Collier County Domestic Animal Services Announces Fee-Waived Cat Adoptions in Celebration of National Kitten Day
In celebration of National Kitten Day on July 10, Collier County Domestic Animal Services is hosting a fee-waived adoption event for all shelter cats from July 10 – July 12.
This special event is designed to help more cats find loving homes while bringing awareness to the importance of pet adoption and rescue. Adult cats and kittens will be available for adoption during the promotion.
“Our shelter is full of amazing cats ready for their second chance,” said Grace Angel, Operations Manager of Domestic Animal Services. “National Kitten Day is the perfect opportunity to encourage our community to open their hearts and homes to a shelter cat in need.”
All adopted cats will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and medically evaluated prior to going home. Adoption counselors will also be available to help match families with the right pet and provide resources for a successful transition.
Community members are encouraged to visit early, as available cats are adopted on a first-come, first-served basis.
