🇺🇸 Memorial Day services are set to take place across Southwest Florida on Monday, with communities on both Marco Island and in Naples gathering to honour America’s fallen service personnel.

On Marco Island, the annual observance will be held at Veterans Community Park on Park Avenue from 11 a.m. until midday.

Meanwhile in Naples, a separate Memorial Day ceremony will take place at Naples Memorial Gardens, hosted at Hodges Funeral Home on 111th Avenue North.

🎖️ The Naples ceremony begins at 10 a.m., with a musical prelude scheduled for 9:30 a.m.

Organisers say the event will include patriotic tributes, military honours and moments of remembrance dedicated to those who lost their lives serving in the United States Armed Forces.

Following the ceremony, attendees in Naples will also be invited to a community picnic prepared and served by family members of veterans — a tradition designed to bring families and service members together in remembrance.

With warm and humid conditions expected across Southwest Florida, those attending either event are being encouraged to arrive early, stay hydrated and prepare for the late-morning heat.
