A new round of state restaurant inspections across Naples and Marco Island revealed a sharp contrast in Southwest Florida’s dining scene — with 29 establishments earning spotless first inspections with zero violations, while 55 others failed to pass their initial inspections during recent visits by Florida inspectors.
The inspections, conducted by the Florida Division of Hotels and Restaurants, covered restaurants, catering operations, clubs, food trucks, cafes, bars and hotel dining facilities throughout Collier County.
Several well-known local names appeared on both lists, highlighting the importance of ongoing food safety and sanitation standards in one of Florida’s busiest dining destinations.
