The City of Marco Island will host its annual Fourth of July fireworks show on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at approximately 9:00 p.m.

Fireworks will launch from a barge located offshore between Tigertail Beach and South Beach.

Residents and visitors should expect increased traffic and limited parking throughout the island, especially near beach access points. Please allow extra travel time, use crosswalks and follow all posted signs.

Fireworks are not permitted within City limits. Vehicles must not block roadways, driveways, intersections, fire hydrants or emergency access points. Vehicles parked illegally may be ticketed and are subject to being towed.

Beachgoers are reminded to watch children closely near the water, swim sober, dispose of trash properly and be aware of changing weather conditions. Boaters should maintain a safe distance from the fireworks barge and follow all directions from law enforcement and public safety personnel.

Sea turtle nesting season is underway. Please fill in holes, remove beach obstacles before leaving and keep beachfront lights off or shielded by 9:00 p.m. to help protect nesting sea turtles and hatchlings.

For emergencies, call 911. Non-emergency concerns may be reported to the Marco Island Police Department at 239-389-5050.

The City encourages everyone to celebrate safely, enjoy our beautiful island and leave only footprints when visiting the beach.
