Speeding on the Jolley Bridge
The S.S. Jolley Bridge is one of the primary gateways to Marco Island and has a posted speed limit of 35 mph. Police routinely patrol the bridge, where speeding violations are common due to the roadway’s long, elevated approach.
Authorities remind drivers that if they are experiencing a genuine medical emergency, they should call 911 rather than risk creating another emergency by driving at excessive speeds.
