🐟 Snook: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The summer snook bite continues to be outstanding.
Fish are holding around mangrove shorelines, docks, passes and beaches.
Live pilchards, pinfish, topwater plugs and soft plastics are all producing fish.
Best action is at sunrise and during the last two hours before sunset. (FishingBooker)

🐟 Redfish: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆

Found around oyster bars and mangrove shorelines.
Early morning incoming tides are producing the best results.
Cut bait and live shrimp remain reliable choices. (Captain Experiences)

🐟 Tarpon: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆

Smaller “resident” tarpon remain active in the backcountry.
Early morning rolling fish can still be found around creek mouths and bridges.

🐟 Mangrove Snapper: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

One of the hottest bites of July.
Mangrove edges and nearshore reefs are producing steady catches.

🦈 Sharks: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆

Bull, lemon and bonnethead sharks remain active throughout the backwaters.
Fresh cut bait is drawing quick strikes. (Captain Experiences)

Generally calm during the morning.
Light onshore breezes becoming moderate during the afternoon.

⚡ Afternoon thunderstorms remain likely, so plan to be off open water before mid-afternoon whenever possible.
